West Valley City, Utah--Our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, wife, sister, aunt, and friend, Anita Kay Carrell 73 years old, passed away Friday afternoon, March 26, 2021.

She was born August 5, 1947 in Visalia, California to Albert Olenslager and Wanda Hulsey Olenslager where she grew up, with one sister and four brothers. She was the youngest. She graduated from Redwood Visalia High School 1965.

Anita married John David Carrell SR. April 16, 1987, whom she loved dearly❤. He passed away March 11, 2021. She loved going on walks with her husband, John. Together they played golf and went camping.

She loved knitting and sewing and all kinds of crafts that her mother, Wanda taught her. She was a great cook and made the best cookies ever. Her favorite color was blue.

She worked at Kmart and Zions Bank, where she had many friends that loved her and treated her like family.

Anita is survived by her children, Leonard Streeper (wife, Becky), John David Carrell Jr., Christine Sax (husband, Bret); her sister, Lois Mc Afee; brothers, Gary Olenslager, Larry Olenslager and Donnie Olenslager (wife, Jammie); and several grandchildren & great grandchildren, nieces & nephews.

Anita was preceded in death by her husband, John David Carrell Sr.; her father, Albert Olenslager & mother, Wanda Hulsey Olenslager; and her brother, Robert Paul Olenslager (nick named Bobby)

Anita was a caring and giving women who has a special place in the hearts of all that knew her. She will be greatly missed
