ARTHUR LEON TALBOT

1934 ~ 2021

On April 10, 2021 the warranty expired for Arthur Leon Talbot, son of Lyle Wendell Talbot and Genevieve Faye Dilly.  After visiting with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, he passed peacefully in his sleep with his two surviving children at his side.

Leon was born August 14, 1934, grew up in Magna, Utah, and went to Cyprus High.  He worked at Kennecott Copper for 35 years, and retired in 1985 in his 50s.  He was an excellent gardener, and known for his large tomatoes.  He loved to hunt, fish, and work in the yard of the home his father built. 

He is survived by his two children, Brian Leon Talbot and Josyne T McBride, seven grandchildren, and sixteen great grandchildren.  He is also survived by his sister Elaine Hepworth, and brothers Dan and Jerry Talbot.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Lyle and Genevieve Talbot; his daughter, Suzanne Hayes; and his brother, “Sam” Elwin Talbot.

As to Leon’s wishes, there will be no viewing or services.  The family wishes that you celebrate life in his memory.
