Arva May Jordan

1931 ~ 2018

Arva May Jordan passed away peacefully at home on March 12 , 2018 with family present. She was born August 6 , 1931 in Bingham Canyon to William Arvel and Nelda Wolstenholme. Her childhood and adult life were spent in the Magna area.

She married Jack Wallace and they had three children, Kent, Julie and Keith.  A little later in life she found her true love and life mate, Norm. They were married and enjoyed 4 decades together. Arva often spoke of the many things she loved about Norm. He knew how to make her laugh and she loved it when she would find his sweet notes left in unexpected places around the house.

Arva was an avid reader and had many interests and hobbies throughout her life. However, one of her greatest joys was spending time with her family. She was also a wonderful friend and spent her entire life fostering her friendships. Her childhood friends were her treasures until she died. She always remained close with her two sisters, was a wonderful mother and friend to her children, and was incredibly proud of the accomplishments of her grandchildren.

Arva is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Norm; and two brothers-in-law, Max and Mike. She is survived by her two sisters, Rae Giles and Jan Sullivan; her children, Kent (Kathryn) Wallace, Julie (Merrill) Duncan, Keith (Bonnie) Wallace; as well as 11 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
