Life history of Audrea Leyner
Welcome to my world. I have written my story with hope that in some way you will be encouraged to stay with the good life. So carry on, shall we?
I was born on July 11th 1927 at home in Layton Utah and was given the name Audrea Layton. My parents were Clifton Bodily Layton and Lois Annie Cotterell Layton. I had two older brothers Jack and Wayne whom I loved dearly.
I met my wonderful husband and eternal companion when I was a junior in high school and he was a senior. His name was Walter Gale Brandt. Together we had three wonderful children, Melodie, Kevin and Darrin.
Music came into my life at a very early age and more than anything I wanted to learn to play the piano. Since there was no one to teach me I taught myself and it has been a joy to me throughout my life. I also played the flute and the organ and spent many years serving in many capacities as choir director, accompanist, and organist. Singing was also one of my passions and I spent many happy days singing with friends and loved ones.
My love for the Lord and my desire to serve him was so important to me. I spent many years serving in a variety of temples. I also had the privilege to serve a mission in Arkansas with my dear friend Mary Storms.
But the most important thing in my life was my family. I was so blessed to be associated with such wonderful people who I will have the privilege to spend eternity with. I may not be here with you physically anymore but please know that I will always be with you. Until we meet again I love you most.
