Benjamin John Cortez

Benjamin John Cortez 50, of Magna Utah. Passed away March 3 ^rd at 7:30 P.M. after a long struggle with cancer. He was born in Pico Rivera Ca. September 9 ^th 1962 to Sandra Kay Davies and Neo Cortez. He touched many lives and would literally give you the shirt off his back. Benny, as many knew Him by, loved his children and his wife of six years Charolet Cortez they were the light of his life.

He also had a love of racing; and being outdoors. He often raced his truck at Rocky Mountain Raceway and did quite well. He was a devoted husband and father, a hard worker who was loved by his co- workers and was a good  and true Friend. He was a fighter and fought with all his might right up to the very end. Benny, you will Be Forever Missed. He is survived by his wife Charolet Cortez, Son Jaiden Young, daughter Sandra Cortez, Sister Christina Bodon, and many nieces and nephews who adored him.

His memorial will be held at the stake center at 3084 so. 8400 w. Magna, UT Memorial will be from 5 to 6 and services from 6 to 8.
