Our sweet and loving wife, mom, grandmother, sister, aunt, and cousin Bernice Jackson returned to the loving arms of our Heavenly Father on Saturday March 15, 2014.

She was born to Clyde Albert Nelson and Cleo Fullmer Nelson on September 27, 1935.

She was married to Bruce Brand, but later divorced.

She married Jay Jackson on October 24, 1972. They later renewed their wedding vows on Feb 8, 2014.

She loved her husband and family more than life itself. She loved to talk and visit with them, and loved to have flowers around the house. She had a few jobs over the years, decided to retire and spend time with her husband. They loved to travel to places, loved to shop and buy cards for family and friends.

She is survived by her husband Jay, 5 daughters Shelly, Cheryl, Nancy, Carla (Chester), Toni (Floyd) and 2 sons Dennis (Becky), and Clyde. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren, her 4 sisters Karen, Starla, Tami, Mary (Mike) and 3 brothers Neal (Kathy), Harold, and Gordan (Ann). Also survived by brother-in-law Blaine Jacobson, sister-in-law Marlene Despain, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and her little buddy Chloe.

Preceded in death by her son Bruce Jr, her parents, Cleo and Clyde, her brother Robert, her sister Melanie and son-in-law Jim John as well as her granddaughter Teona Counts, also many other relatives.

Funeral Services will be Friday March 21, 2014 at the Pheasant Brook Ward, 3737 South 5600 West, West Valley City UT. Viewing will be also held at the Pheasant Brook Ward Thursday evening March 20, 2014 from 6-8 pm, as well as Friday morning before the funeral from 10- 10:45 am. Interment: Garner Mausoleum.
