Our beloved wife, mom, grandmother, memere and sister, Bernice Foote Pinelle, passed away peacefully after a long battle with lupus surrounded by her loving family on June 7th, 2021.
Bernice was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on January 31st, 1945 to Clair and Josephine Foote. She attended Cyprus High School in Magna, Utah. She met the love of her life Joseph Pinelle, from Providence, Rhode Island, while he was stationed at Dugway Proving Grounds. They were married April 22nd, 1961. It was a blessing to recently celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary. Their love story will have no end. Bernice was a devout member of the Catholic Church and passed her beliefs along to all of her descendants.
Mom loved to cook for her family. So much so, that she had a book of her recipes published so that they could live on for many generations. Mom’s favorite days were when her house was filled with all of her loved ones. No one could put on a Hallmark Christmas like our Mom. She truly made every day feel like Christmas. Some of Mom’s favorite things were crocheting blankets for all of the family, going to Wendover, dancing with her honey, family dinners and interacting with her friends through social media.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Les and Wayne and her beloved son Bob. She is now celebrating a long awaited reunion with her son Bob. She is survived by her sweetheart of 60 years, 5 children, Diana (Roger) Ochocki, Karen (Mike) Lang, Tom (Tina) Pinelle, Claire (Alex) Fernandez, Matt (Stacey) Pinelle, 13 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, with two more on the way, her brothers Bob (Jody) Foote and Garry (Georgia) Foote and her beloved cat Teddy.
A mass in celebration of her life will be held on Monday, June 14th at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 2840 S 9000 W, Magna Utah 84044.
