Beverly Slater Holt passed peacefully away on Monday, August 2, 2021 in the evening as she slept in her home in West Jordan, Utah surrounded by family. Born April 16, 1933 in Provo, Utah to mother, Elda Andrea Gronemann and father, Vincent Elmer Slater. She and Le Roy Alvin Holt were married on August 24, 1957, sealed in the Salt Lake Temple, and raised a family of 7 children.
Beverly loved Christmas lights, meadowlarks, the Utah Jazz, singing & music, sewing & knitting, gardening, cooking, and all things food. Bev was a singer with the Sweet Adelines' "Mountain Jubilee Chorus" and expressed a great sense of humor and singing talent as a member of a women's barbershop quartet named "Four Times The Fun". Later in life she was fondly known within the family as Gigi in honor of her much enjoyed role as great-grandmother.
Beverly is preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers, Donald Vincent and Virl Groneman; and sisters, Dorothy May and Mildred Elda. She is survived by her brother, Eldon R; her children, Teresa (Matt) Sellers, Steve (Delcy), Scott, Blake, David, Andrea (Boyd) Dial, and Tara; 18 grand children, and 25 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 AM, Monday, August 9, 2021 at the West Jordan Park Stake Center, 7411 South 4800 West, where a visitation will be held from 10:00-11:15 AM. Interment at the Utah Veterans Cemetery & Memorial Park, 17111 S. Redwood Rd., Bluffdale, UT.
