Bill Landures

Our beloved husband, father, and grandfather, Bill Landures passed away August 6, 2014 in Magna, UT.  He was born October 2, 1922 in Murray, UT to Gust and Despena Kotsletof Landures. He married Carol Dawn Hardman May 18, 1948 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Bill served in the US Air Force during WWII, and then worked for Kennecott Copper, retiring after 45 years. He enjoyed relaxing and eating ice cream, and truly adored his family.  Bill is survived by his wife of 66 years, Carol; children, Deno (Sheri), Nikki (Randy) Huizenga, and Laurie (Chad) Stevenson; grandchildren, Jennifer (Eric) Smead, Zach (Evelin) Stevenson, and Jacob Stevenson; many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; twin boys, Chris and Craig; and brothers, Jim, Lefty, John, and Tom.

Graveside services will be held 12 noon, Friday, August 8, 2014 at Mount Olivet Cemetery, 1342 E. 500 S.
