Bobbe Privett

Bobbe Alice Privett passed away peacefully in her sleep after a long battle with dementia on January 8, 2023.  She was born July 8, 1949 to Orson and Merlynn Privett.

She is preceded in death by her parents and two older brothers, Bud and Dick; brother in-law, Larry Lexes Sr.; and nephew, Larry Jr. She is survived by her brother, Mike (Bear); sisters, Kathy Lexes and Terri Pinkney (Laurence); nephews, Clint Lexes (Uarda), Richard Lexes (Sara); and niece, Diane Cichocki (Gary); and many great nieces and nephews and one great-great niece.

Bobbe loved to cook for people; she would cook for anyone who came to her home.  She also enjoyed baking especially with her nieces and nephews. She enjoyed family bar-b-ques and time spent in her backyard.  She worked at Wheeler Machinery for many years before taking an early retirement.

We’d like to thank Wasatch Hospice for the months of loving care they provided for Bobbe and Sandy Rehab Center for the short time she was with them.  We’d also like to thank her great niece, Taylor and her parents, Richard and Sara for all the loving care they provided.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday January 17, 2023 at 11:00am at Peel Funeral Home, 8525 West 2700 South Magna, Utah.  A viewing will be Monday January 16, 2023 from 6:00 to 8:00pm and Tuesday 10:00 to 11:00am prior to the service.   Interment will be at Salt Lake City Cemetery 200 North Street Salt Lake City, Utah.
