Bonnie Williams Robinson was a fun-sized, kind-hearted individual who unfortunately passed away on December 6th, 2024, under the care of Holy Cross Hospital, surrounded by loved ones.
She was born on December 29th, 1946, at the LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City and raised by her parents, Wayne Walter Williams and Bessie May Wisner. After listening to Elvis for the first time during her childhood years, she instantly fell in love with him and his music. She started collecting records and listening to them in secret, since her parents weren’t huge fans.
After getting her high school diploma, she attended Salt Lake Community College to pursue a career in office management, and thanks to her excellent typing skills behind the good ol’ typewriter, she excelled at it. During this time, she married twice and had 3 children Wendi, Cindy and Harlland.
Later in life, Bonnie would face her greatest challenge yet, after being involved in a car accident that cost both of her legs. This didn’t stop her, however, as she would then go on to achieve great things, such as competing in the Ms. Wheelchair pageant and becoming an advocate for disabled individuals.
Bonnie enjoyed the simpler things in life, such as westerns and true crime TV shows and listening to her various records and CDs. She was also an avid reader, and had built up a massive collection of books, with her favorite genres being true crime and horror stories. She also adored animals, especially cats. There was not a single moment in her house that didn’t see at least one cat and one dog.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Wayne and Bessie, sister Barbara, brother Robert her eldest daughter Wendi. Survived by her children, Cindy and Harlland, grandchildren, Amanda, Lonnie, Hailey, Dominick and Justin, great grandchildren Lorenzo, Mhylee, Milo, Madisynn, McKenzee, Hayzel and Lincoln. As well as many surrogate grandkids and many friends.
Her viewing will be held on December 18th, 2024, at the Peel Funeral Home, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Her funeral service will be held on December 19th, 2024, at Valley View Cemetery at 11:30 AM. She has touched the hearts of many, and she will be deeply missed by all who have met her.
