It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Brent Beesley Pitts, beloved son, father, grandfather, uncle, brother, and friend, who departed this life far too soon on November 18, 2024, at the age of 64. Born on May 28, 1960, in Rexburg, Idaho, Brent’s life was defined by boundless love, strength, and selflessness. He dedicated himself wholeheartedly to helping others, often putting their needs before his own. He touched countless lives with his kindness, generosity, and unwavering support.
Brent will be remembered not only for his love of family but also for his passion for life’s simple pleasures, including time spent boating with his loved ones. Whether gliding across the water at Lake Powell on a sunny day or laughing and sharing stories around a campfire in Flaming Gorge; those moments brought him immense joy and created cherished memories for all who joined him. His love for boating was just one of many ways he brought his family together, strengthening bonds and creating lasting joy.
His legacy lives on in the countless people he inspired and in the values he instilled in his children and grandchildren. Brent’s impact was felt not just through his acts of kindness, but through the deep connections he forged and the love he shared so freely. He was always our voice of reason.
Brent is preceded in death by his father, Jeffrey. Brent is survived by his mother, Jackie Pitts; Sherrie Chandler (Partner); sisters, Jeanine Immoos (Randy), Tricia Peterson (Mark), Kathy Seitz (Marc); children Justin Pitts (Becky), Melissa Pitts (Gabriel), Jacob Pitts (Kimberly); and grandchildren, Kaden (Alexia), Kinlee, Bailee, Alec, and Nash.
