Bryan David Carlson, 41, passed away on May 9, 2024, in Murray, Utah. Bryan was born July 22, 1982, in St. George, Utah to Terry Bywater and Reggie Carlson. The 5-member Carson Family, Reggie and Terry, Greg, Todd, and Bryan, and the youngest member, Twanya joined the family in March of 1984. Bryan lived in the same house almost 40 years.
He attended Douglas T. Orchard Elementary, Hunter Junior High, and graduated from Cyprus High in the Spring of 2001. His continuing education was at Salt Lake Community College, where he also worked as a teacher's aide and math tutor.
As Bryan's health challenges progressed, he was unable to continue in the workplace. Bryan was able and loved to care for himself by handling his medical treatment, appointments, medication management, and financial matters.
Bryan loved words and he would often share his take on words and phrases, such as "I'll get the vacuum, you know it really sucks."
Bryan was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He had a testimony of Jesus Christ as his Savior. Bryan had a great love of classical music and the Children's Primary Songs. He served in the Copperhill 3rd Ward as a historian with his father and as a greeter on Sunday. Bryan loved to welcome people to church. He was a very special person.
Bryan loved to serve others. He chose to continue serving by donation of his heart, liver, kidneys, and corneas. The ripples of this will continue for generations to come.
Bryan is survived by his now parents, Reggie and Pam (Seely) Carlson; siblings and their spouses, Greg (Jared), Todd (Kristie), Twanya Rasmussen (Jed) and Cheryl Winger (Larry); 6 nieces and 7 nephews who loved him very much; and numerous aunts and uncles.
