Angela "Camille" Johnson Stoddard passed away peacefully Thursday May 18th at the age of 85, after a short but intense battle with cancer.  She was born in Logan, Utah June 28, 1931, to Angela Larsen and William Carvel Johnson.  She married Franklin Nibley Stoddard in the Salt Lake Temple November 6, 1953.

Camille graduated from BYU in Journalism and after raising her family worked for ZCMI and most recently Salt Lake County Library where she had many dear friends. She served faithfully in the LDS church in many leadership positions as they moved throughout the country. She loved reading, learning, politics, BYU sports, the Jazz, knitting and gardening.  She is remembered for her life of service, her kindness, her quick wit, and her pizzazz. She leaves a strong legacy of love to all her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. We miss you GranCam.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank; and son, Steven. She is survived by her son, Matthew; daughter, Trish Hull (David); 7 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, May 23rd at 12 noon at the Spencer 5th Ward, 3805 S. 8000 W., Magna, Utah. Viewings will be held Monday, May 22nd from 6-8 pm at Peel Funeral Home, 8525 W. 2700 S., and from 11:00 -11:45 am prior to the services at the church.
