1962 ~ 2021

Carlos “Charlie” Jeronimo Estrada, 59 of Magna, Utah passed away on Sunday August 22, 2021.

Carlos was born on January 31st 1962 to Victoria and Nicolas Estrada in Murray Utah. He got married to Diana in January 1982 in the Salt Lake Temple. They had 5 children, StarLyn, Christopher, Sara, Tyler, and Kaydee.

Carlos was an amazing son, brother, husband, father, uncle, and grandfather. He was loved by many people. He would go out of his way to make sure people were having a great day. Even if he didn’t know you, he would tell you a joke or story to make your day better. He led by example, and taught people around him the true meaning of unconditional love. Carlos loved to go camping, fishing, and spending time with his loved ones. He also loved to go on random drives whenever he had free time. Carlos enjoyed working on old press machines and worked as a pressman for the Magna Times Newspaper before they closed down.

Carlos was preceded in death by his father, Nicolas; mother, Victoria; brothers, Rocky, Little Joe, and Andy.

He is survived by his father, Jose Montoya; siblings, Squeak, Helen, Isabel, Billy, Cindy, and Robert; children, StarLyn, Christopher (Rayann), Sara (Christopher), Tyler, and Kaydee.; grandchildren, AnnaLyn, Janna, Nicholas, Christyann, Jenny, Terence, Tayler-Skye, Joseph, Jessie, and Stacey; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, August 30, 2021 at the Pleasant Green Chapel, 8739 W. 3000 S., where a visitation will be Monday 10-10:45 a.m. Interment: Pleasant Green Cemetery.
