Carol George Olsen

Carol George Olsen passed away peacefully at home on September 8, 2012. She was born to Arley and Elsie George of Bountiful on December 24, 1919. She was the third of ten children.  She attended Davis High School. She married Glen Aaron Olsen, son of Lima and Aaron Olsen, on June 2, 1938 in the Salt Lake Temple and they made their home in Magna, Utah.

She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She held many callings and loved to serve. She loved her association with their neighbors and friends. She enjoyed working in the Jordan River Temple. They had great fun living in St George as "snowbirds" with their many friends there.

Mom was a great homemaker. She loved music, cleaning, gardening and quilting. They had five children: Sharon (Paul dec.) Foote, Douglas G (Clara) Olsen, Colleen (Richard) Simons, Ron B (Brenda) Olsen, Brent G (Dawna) Olsen. They had twenty grandchildren and twenty-three great grandchildren. We know she will have a great reunion with Dad and her many loved ones who have gone before her.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, September 15, 2012 at the Harvest Park Ward, 3671 South 4180 West, West Valley City, Utah. A viewing will be held at 11:00 a.m. and the funeral service at 12:30p.m. Online condolences: www.peelfuneralhome.com
