Carloyn Mary Larsen Westwood

Our dear and beloved mother, grandma, aunt and friend Carolyn Mary Larsen Westwood, 78, died peacefully at her home surrounded by her family. Carolyn was born December 27, 1935 to Rex Bent and Mary Barton Larsen in Provo, Utah. She was the oldest of her 7 siblings. She met the love of her life Kent D. Westwood in High School and was married June 1, 1956 in the Salt Lake Temple.

Carolyn attended Provo High School, BYU and Utah Technical College and earned a degree in accounting. She later taught math and accounting at Utah Technical College. She was a faithful member of the LDS church and served in many callings including; Relief Society President, Young Women's and Primary.

Carolyn is survived by her children; Howard (Kathy), Scott, Karen (Tim) Hunt, grandchildren; Adam, Dennis (Aubrey), Michelle (Taylor), Korrine (Jeff), Mallorie, Amanda. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

The Westwood and Hunt families would like to thank the Hearts for Hospice for their tender care and help given to Carolyn at her time of need.

Funeral services will be 12 noon Saturday April 12, 2014 at the Granger 10 th Ward, 3274 Hillsdale Dr (2760 West), West Valley City. Visitations will be 7-9 pm Friday April 11 , 2014 and 10:30 - 11:45 am Saturday both at the church. Interment: Valley View Memorial Park  Condolences: www.peelfuneralhome.com
