Chad Allen Benson passed away on October 28, 2020 at home in West Jordan, Utah. Chad was born in Harrisburg, PA to Patty Ann Benson and Steve Laudenslager. Chad had a lot of love for family and friends. Chad adored his wife, Marty, who was the love of his life! Chad enjoyed spending time with his wife and kids playing cards and games. He loved to play baseball with the kids and ride the motorcycles. Chad loved football and was very competitive with everything he did. He always tried to please everyone and make sure everyone had what they needed.

When Chad was younger, he loved comic books, Star Wars, loved to watch movies and hang out with his friends. He was a sweet, fun kid with an exciting imagination. He loved to stay with his Grandma and Grandpa Benson, and loved to go to Liberty Park with his family and friends. When Chad was younger, he also enjoyed Body Building and working out at the Gym. He competed in several Body Building competitions, and won several awards.

As an adult, Chad suffered from high blood pressure and an enlarged heart. He is survived by his wife, Marty Benson, parents Patty Ann Benson and Steve Laudenslager, in-laws Ron and Doris Roeling, step-children Kory and Mykayla, step-grandchildren Oakleigh, Raylynn and Henry, Aunt Cathy and Uncle Mike Larsen and family, and Chad’s best friend, Russell. He is preceded in death by his stepson, Kody, his Aunt DyAnna and Uncle Mike Simpson, Uncle Douglas, and Grandma and Grandpa Benson. Chad will be cremated, and a private memorial service is to be held at a later date.

Chad was an awesome husband, dad, grandpa, son, grandson, nephew and friend. Chad was loved and will be sorely missed by his family and friends. Chad was the love of Marty’s life, and no one will replace him. He will never be forgotten. We love you, Chad!
