1966 - 2012

In loving memory of Michael Chad Whaley age 45, who passed away August 23, 2012 surrounded by his family and friends.

Chad was born in Provo, Utah on November 24, 1966 to Stanley Dale Whaley and Patricia Flick Contreras. Chad is survived by his wife Elizabeth Ann Whaley, his son Michael Christopher Whaley, his mother Patricia Flick Contreras, his sibling's Judy Whaley Costello, Richard Dale Whaley, Guadalupe (Sergio) Diaz, Michelle (Shawn) McCarty, Shannon Nicole Peterson,  AnaAlicia (Chris) Henderson and many nieces and nephews that he absolutely adored.

Chad's favorite pastime was spending time with his son Mikey who has been the biggest blessing in his life and filled his heart with joy. He also enjoyed fishing, camping, collecting motorcycles, being around his family and taking his little boy to car shows.

Chad was a loving and caring father, husband, son, brother, uncle, and friend. He was the best daddy to his little son who worshipped him and followed him where ever he went. He has blessed and touched the lives of so many and all who knew him will miss him terribly.

Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel at the L.D.S Church at 7731 W. 3500 S. in Magna, Utah followed by a burial at Elysian Burial Gardens Cemetery at 1075 E. 4580 S. in Salt Lake City.
