Charlotte Louise Johnson
Magna, UT - Born Oct 23,1942 to Emma & Jesse Johnson Sr. in Newport, Kentucky; Our Beloved Sister and Aunt Passed Away peacefully on May 28, 2017. At the age of 74.
Charlotte was a very kind and gentle person with the eternal soul of a child. She saw the world through innocent eyes, and wondered in joyful amazement at every new birth that added to our family. Never being a mother herself, she claimed every child that came along as “hers” and nobody who knows her would ever dispute it. Her love for her parents, brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews and all the children who followed; this was a pure and unconditional love.
She enjoyed her life and was the happiest when she was spending time with her family and friends. In the best of times, she lit up the room with laughter. In our family’s most trying times, nobody felt the loss of a loved one more deeply. Every joy and every pain our family has encountered throughout her lifetime; Charlotte felt them all through her deep loving connection to each and every one of us.
All Charlotte’s friends and family will tell you; she was never one to hold her tongue; whenever she had something to say, she just said it. She had no filter. The things Charlotte said were often equal parts innocence and wisdom; sometimes salty, but always given forth honestly with love and the best of intentions.
Charlotte always loved doing special things for those she cherished… such as making blankets, finding and sharing a special gift for whomever was on her mind at the time, (we’ve all been there) and giving her love to all.
Now she is our Guardian Angel looking down upon us from above. She is greatly missed by all who knew her here on earth but God in Heaven has reclaimed our favorite angel and given her the gift of eternal life.
Now that she has gone home, there is a great big family reunion with those she has been missing for so long.
Charlotte is Survived by Brothers; Tayne, Jesse Jr (Claudia), James (Bev) and Nieces / Nephews; Sam, Gina, Brenda (Jack), Bill, Rick (Debbie), Jolynn, Colette (Ish), Jackie (Randy) Janarae (Scott), Cori (Steve), Jarrin (Shayna), Chellee (Keith), Jesse (Jocelyn) and Many Great & Great-Great Nieces and Nephews.
