CLARINE GUNDERSON (DAVIES) HATCH
Our loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Clarine Gunderson (Davies) Hatch, age 80, passed away on April 7, 2013, surrounded by family who loved her. Clarine was born April 2, 1933 in Tooele, Utah to Henry and Winnie Gunderson. She married Howard Marion Davies on June 5, 1950 in the Salt Lake Temple. Howard passed away in 2002. Clarine was introduced to George W. Hatch in 2005, and they were joined together in a happy marriage on November 1, 2005. Clarine had a heart rarely found, filled with love, laughter, the spirit of giving, happiness and friendship. With incredible energy and one pair of hands, she blessed the lives of everyone around her. Her wit, wisdom and unequalled love for her family and wide circle of friends and acquaintances will be sorely missed. Her children will always admire and remember her for her unconditional love and commitment to God. Her greatest joy was her family, including Howard, who she patiently cared for many years after he had a heart attack, and then George, her great friend and love of their golden years; and her eight children.
She is survived by her husband, George, and children Karen (Craig) Lingard, Kent (Susan) Davies, Paul (Diane) Davies; Larae (Jerry) Greening; Richard (Wendy) Davies; Diane (Steven) Young; Bryan (Cherelle) Davies; David (Kathy) Davies; preceded in death by her sweetheart of 52 years, Howard Davies; and son-in-law Milan Christley . Clarine's legacy includes 57 grandchildren and 70 great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind two brothers and three sisters: LaVar (Lorraine) Gunderson; Myrna Green; Carrol Gunderson; John (Kim) Gunderson; and Diana Forrester.
