Claudia Herta Wobbe Isenhour
1954 - 2013
Claudia passed away in the early morning hours of October 18 th completing a life of love and service. Her father Rudolf and her grandmother Marie welcomed her home. Claudia was born April 30, 1954 to Rudolf Wobbe and Herta Schmidt Wobbe. She was the first child born in the United States of German Immigrants. Claudia grew up in Salt Lake City graduating from West High School. Married her high school sweetheart John on November 24, 1972 and the marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. She was an active member of the LDS church and served in many callings throughout her life. She was the loving mother of four children and the favorite grandmother to nine spoiled grandchildren. Claudia loved to bake, sew and spend time with her family. She touched the lives of many people and selflessly brought comfort and joy to all those who came in contact with her. She will be missed by all who knew her and we were lucky to be a part of her life.
She is survived by John, her doting husband of 40 years; children, Brandon (Jenn) Isenhour, Amber Isenhour, Robyn (John-Erik) Brammer, Tracy (Scott) Mickelsen and 9 adoring grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday October 23, 2013 at 1:00pm in the Hunter 2 nd Ward Chapel (3970 South 5200 West). A viewing will be held on Tuesday Evening from 6-8 pm and Wednesday at 12:00-12:45 at the same location.
In lieu of flowers please visit the local fabric store and make any purchase in an effort to offset the loss of revenue created by Claudia's absence.
