1952 ~ 2021

Delores Colleen Snow passed away August 28, 2021 at her home in West Valley City, Utah following a surgery three days prior to her death. She was 69 years young.
Colleen was born August 25, 1952 in Brigham City, Utah, the fourth of seven children, to Cleon and Delene Ard.

In 1974 she married and later divorced James Eddie Mann (J.E.), West Valley City, Utah. In 2003 she met and married Gary Snow Sr. and they were later sealed in the LDS Jordan River Temple.

Mother of Michelle, Sharlene and Jennifer, she also enjoyed her role as a stepmother to Gary’s children Mark, Gary Jr., Jerron and Gina.
Grandmother to Samantha, Layla, and Madilyn along with shared grandchildren: Heidi, Brandon, Ashley, Kirsten, Whitney, Taylor, Kaylie and Alexis. There are also 10 shared great grandchildren.

Survived by husband, Gary Snow Sr.; mother, Delene Ard; brother, Kenneth (Raymie) Ard; sister, Brenda Price; brother, DeWayne(Kris) Ard; sister, Shauna (Mark) Petersen; brother, Brian Ard; daughters, Michelle (Ryan) Filby and Jennifer Gallegos; Mark (Rebecca) Snow, Gina Williamson, Gary Snow Jr., Jerron (Mindy) Snow.

She was preceded in death by her father, Cleon Ard; brother, Keith Ard; daughter, Sharlene Mann; daughter-in-law, Pam Snow; and brother-in-law, Dexter Price; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Throughout her life Colleen performed a variety of jobs, working from the age of 16 up until a few days before her passing. In her free time, she enjoyed ceramics, reading, bowling and going to oldies concerts, but always cherished any and every opportunity to get together with family. An incredibly loving person, Colleen was also a courageous fighter. In recent years, she proved her strength over and over as she bravely battled one physical complication after another. It didn’t matter what the problem was, whether it was trouble with her heart or difficulty breathing, whenever you asked how she was doing, she always replied, “Okie-dokie.”

Colleen will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her because she was so dearly loved.

Friends may call at a viewing to be held Tuesday, September 7 at the LDS Hunter 14th Ward Building, 3450 S 6400 W, West Valley City, Utah from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 8 at the LDS Hunter 14th Ward Building, 3450 S 6400 W, West Valley City, Utah at 12:00 noon. Viewing to be held at the church ahead
of the funeral service from 11:00 am to 11:45 am. Following the funeral, interment will be at Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 S Redwood Rd.
