Our beloved husband, father, son, brother, grandson, uncle, nephew, and friend, Dallas Gary Prokopis passed away October 4, 2011 from injuries received in a tragic accident while on the job.

He was born February 28, 1980 in Salt Lake City, UT to Tedd W. Prokopis and Kim Rushton.  He married Jennifer Lynn Duncan on December 26, 2006 in Salt Lake City.

Dallas worked for Greene's Inc. Construction.  He was known for his sense of humor and sense of adventure.  He loved spending time with his family, fishing, camping, sports, and could never refuse a trip to Wendover.

Survived by his wife, Jennifer; children, Kandice, Billy, Dallas, and baby Houston due in November; dad, Tedd (Debbie) Prokopis; mom, Kim Rushton; mother-in-law, JoAnn Ellis; brothers, Teddy and David (Sonya) and Joey; sisters, Mary (Mike) Nay and Sara (Derek) Sorensen; grandfather, Gary Rushton; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and lots of close friends.

Preceded in death by brothers, Billy and Paul; grandparents, Bill and Nanette Prokopis and Carol Rushton; and great-grandma, Elva Rushton.

Funeral services will be held 12 noon Monday, October 10, 2011 at Peel Funeral Home, 8525 W. 2700 S., Magna, where friends and family may call both Sunday 6-8 p.m. and Monday 11-11:45 a.m. prior to services.  Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery.  Online condolences: www.peelfuneralhome.com
