Our loving husband ,father, grandfather gained his wings on July 5th after suffering a year long battle with numerous health issues. Dennis was born on Jan 13,1939 in Murray, Utah to Harry Wiechert & Lucille Montoya with 7 children Dennis, David, Mikey, Marcia, Betty, Donna, Karen.
He married his one true love Alice Wiechert on Oct 09,1965 in Ely, Nevada. They were later sealed in the LDS temple on July 29, 2000. They have 4 children Roberta Phillips (Bud Phillips), Sandra Wiechert, Harriett Lamm(Johnny Lamm), Albert Wiechert(Katrina Wiechert), and 8 grandchildren and many more that loved him dearly he is now an angel in heaven and with his other loving family.
Dennis is survived by his wife and 4 children and two sister's and many grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, father, two sister's and two brother's and daughter in-law. Dennis was a very kind and giving man and always willing to help out. Dennis was very active in the LDS church and had many friends their.
He worked for the Salt Lake County public works for 23 years where he retired in 2004. Dennis was a very proud of everything he did and loved his wife and family dearly.
Viewing will be held Friday 17th of July from 6 pm to 8 pm at Peel Funeral Home, 8525 W 2700 S, Magna
Services will be held Sat 18th of July as 10 am - 10:45 am viewing 11 am. Interment: Valley View Memorial Park following the funeral services
