Diana Hancock

March 23, 1945 — March 7, 2022

Diana Mae Heywood Hancock

1945 ~ 2022

Mom was born on March 23,1945 in a little town called Panguitch, Utah to DeWitt and Beth Heywood. Mom has always loved family. She grew up with one brother and three sisters. The family later moved to Magna, and that’s where she met and married Michael Bowden and had three children. Mom later met and married Brent Hancock and completed her family with two additional children. After Brent passed away mom reunited with an old love, Bob Bytendorp.

If you asked mom she would say she had a good life. Mom had the best sense of humor and always had a smile on her face. Mom was always willing to help with a place to stay, a meal, a hug or just an ear to listen. She recently was able to go bowling and to Wendover, which were two of her favorite things. Mom will always be remembered for her love of Elvis, her beautiful yard and flowers and sometimes sharing quarters with Bob during an intense card game of 31. Mom loved her kids, but the grand and great grandkids meant the world to her. As mom always said, "All is Well."

Mom is survived by her love, Bob Bytendorp; children, Mike (Jamie) Hancock, Deanna (Chuck) Jarvi, Kellie (Jeran) Hancock, Amy Hancock, Misty Latham, Travis Giles; and 17 grandkids and 12 great grandkids; her brother, Dan (Janet), sisters, Janice (Stan), DeLayne (Wayne), Cindy (Jack).

Preceded in death by her parents, DeWitt and Beth; husbands, Michael Bowden and Brent Hancock; son, Steve; and grandsons, Brandon and Riley.
