Domnick Divino
1925 - 2010
The world lost a sweet man today, Domnick Divino passed away December 5 th after a long decline with Alzheimer's.
Born in Garfield, Utah on February 20, 1925, he grew up in Centerville. He served in the army in Germany and was awarded the Purple Heart. He fell in love in with his first and only love, Angie Alberico and they married in 1946. They lived and raised a family in Magna where Domnick worked as a track foreman for Kennecott Copper until his retirement.
Domnick is known best for his quick, sincere smile, always accompanied by a quick chuckle and his loving willingness to be helpful to others. He would drop anything he was doing to fulfill requested favors for family members and friends alike. It seems that everyone in Magna knew and loved him. He loved to fish, be outdoors, and socialize with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Nancy Sadler and his brothers, Joe, Frank, Tony, and Johnny Divino.
He is survived by his wife, Angie Divino; daughter, Cindy Divino (Dan); son, Ron Divino (Kelli); grandchildren, Matthew Sadler (Jodi), Daniel Sadler (Tiffany), Brian Sadler (Evelyn), Nicholas Quinlan, Zachary Quinlan, Torrie Divino, Mandie Divino, Baylie Divino; great-grandchildren, Drake Sadler, Luke Sadler, Stone Sadler, Maryn Sadler, Madelyne Sadler; and sister, Mary Affleck.
