Our beloved mother and grandmother, Dorothea Merle Christensen Combs passed away September 5, 2016 in West Valley City. Born to Axel Emmanuel and Anna Louisa Brown Christensen, the first New Year baby January 1, 1940 in Salt Lake City. She married Donald Eugene Combs in 1960; they later divorced. Dorothea graduated from South High School in 1958 and attended Steven Henager. She was an active member of the LDS church where she served in many callings. She is survived by children, Shauna (Kim) Cleverly, Brent Combs, Brenda Combs, Susan (Tom) Lujan, Steven Combs, and Chris Combs; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.

The family wishes to express a special thanks to her Hunter Hollow family for their loving care over the last two years.
