Dorriane Coombs

Dorraine Coombs, beloved daughter, sister, aunt and friend passed away Friday, February 24, 2017 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Dorraine was born May 22, 1962 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Albert H. and Nola Beck Coombs.

She loved to laugh and spend time with family and friends. Dorraine loved learning, she graduated from Cyprus High School in 1980, earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in business from the University of Phoenix, and later earning another Associates degree as a paralegal.

Dorraine’s main working career was with U.P.S. She started in the phone center, later she became a specialized account associate and recently worked in the automotive department. The last 20 years she worked in Nampa and Boise, Idaho.

Dorraine was an active member of the LDS Church. Serving faithfully wherever and whenever she was asked to serve. Among her many callings Dorraine served as a Relief Society Teacher, Counselor, Primary President and her latest calling was teaching the CTR 5 class. She loved all children and was loved by them.

Dorraine is survived by her mother, Nola, brothers; Kevin, Bart, sisters: Deborah Labbe, Joan Beck, LaRee (Mike) Obray, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Albert, brother, Shane and sister-in-law, Claudia.

A celebration of life will be held 6-8 pm Wednesday March 1, 2017 at the home of Stan and Jan Beus, 3223 Ginger Lane, Nampa, Idaho. Funeral services will be 10 am Saturday March 4, 2017 at the Hunter Ward, 3450 S 6400 W, West Valley City, Utah. A viewing will be held 9-9:45 am at the church prior to services. Interment: Paris City Cemetery, Paris, Idaho.
