Earl Keith Talbot passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by family on January 9th, 2021, he was 72 years old. Keith was born April 4, 1948 in Delta, Utah to Earl Stewart Talbot and Anita Louise Talbot.
Keith graduated from Cyprus High School in 1966 and continued his education at University of Utah and Salt Lake Community College for a 4-year degree in electronics. Keith started his career with the State of Utah working in public assistance and then moved on to working with National Semi Conductor as an Electronics Technician. When National Semi Conductor moved their headquarters out of state, he returned to the State of Utah to work in their archive department.
He married his sweetheart, Arlene Mechling, in the Salt Lake Temple on April 23, 1970. Keith and Arlene celebrated 50 years of marriage last April 2020. They loved to travel to the National Parks, some of their favorites were Mount Rushmore, Yellowstone and the Grand Canyon.
Keith loved to go hunting and fishing with his dad and family. There wasn’t a James Bond movie he didn’t see or a Beatles album that he didn’t listen to. He shared his love of James Bond with his son (Micah) they had to catch the newest flick as soon as it hit the movie theaters. He had a passion for shooting and loved to take his son’s and grandchildren with him.
He is survived by his wife Arlene, daughter Rachael (Mike) Fugal, son Micah (Kristal) Talbot, grandchildren James, Kyson, Wyatt, Coen, Lucas, Kenzie and Konner, two sisters and one brother.
He is preceded in death by his parents Earl Stewart Talbot (Betty Peck) and Anita Louise Talbot (Boyd Butler) and his son’s Matthew Keith Talbot and Mark Stewart Talbot.
A grave side service will be held at the Lynndyl Cemetery (100 North 400 East, Lynndyl, Utah 84640) on Saturday the 16th at 1:00 pm for close friends and family.
