Echelle Ruth Pollock

Echelle Ruth Pollock, 51, passed away on January 24, 2025. She was born on June 13, 1973, at the University of Utah Hospital to Lee Mitchell Challis (deceased) and Deanna Chynoweth Linford. 

Echelle was a passionate, thoughtful, energetic, and loving woman who brought joy and laughter to all who knew her. She was so good at sending birthday cards and thoughtful presents. Echelle loved the outdoors, music, reading, poetry, and people. She spent 10 happy years living in the beautiful area of Bryce Canyon running a business. She was also a licensed cosmetologist. 

Echelle married Bowdie A. Pollock on December 12, 2012, amidst the Red Rocks of Kodachrome Basin State Park. Bowdie preceded her in death in 2017. At the time of her passing, she was in a loving partnership with Robert James Jensen. 

Echelle is survived by her loving mother, Deanna Chynoweth Linford; and her father, Scott Moncur Linford; her siblings Kathy (Jonathan) Harmon, Natasha (Trent) Martinez, Joy (Glenn) Golen, Jerri Challis, Scott (Trisha) Linford, Christopher (Tessa) Linford, and Randi (Chris Carlson) Linford. She was a cherished aunt to her many nieces and nephews who brought her great joy. 

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on February 1st at 3606 Wing Pointe Dr, Magna, UT 84044. A viewing will be held at the same location starting at 9:30 AM.
