Eddie Curley, age 61, passed away unexpectedly on August 25, 2021. He was a loving husband and beloved brother.
He married the love of his life, Susan German, on October 30, 1997. They made their home in Magna, Utah, and lived a quiet life.
He was born on June 11, 1960 to loving parents, Alfred and Hilda Curley. He was a member of the Dine Tribe. He was the third to the oldest of nine children. Eddie and his brother, Ralph, were inseparable, lived together and had a close relationship. He graduated from Minidoka High School in Idaho in 1979. Most of his school years were part of the Indian placement program. He made his living as a handyman, working for the same employer for over 20 years. He was very dedicated and a hard worker.
His favorite pastime was watching his favorite TV shows, and sports with his wife, Susan, and his co-companion, his cat, Meow Meow.
Eddie always had a smile and was a jokester of the family, loved to tease his sisters, nieces and nephews. He will be dearly missed by his family and all those that knew him.
He was preceded in death by his father, Alfred Curley; mother, Hilda Curley; brother, Alvin Curley. He is survived by his loving wife, Susan Curley; his brothers, Ralph Curley, Magna, Ut; Jarry Curley, Grantsville, Ut; James (Janet) Curley, Gallup, NM; and his sisters, Sharon Curley, Grantsville, Ut; Patricia (Charles) Yeaman, Tooele, UT; Carolyn Curley, Tooele, UT; Judy (Jon) Cordero; Ganado, Az and many nieces and nephews, cousins and Aunts and Uncles.
A small service will be held in his honor at Peel Funeral Home 8525 W Main Street, Magna, UT on Friday, September 3, 2021 at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations are welcomed to help with funeral expenses.
