Edith Corine Tucker Anderson was born on September 14, 1937 in Cleveland, Emery County, Utah in the home of her parents Vance Tucker and Edna May Atwood Tucker. She left this earthly existence on Saturday morning, March 25 in the home of her son, Robert Winder in Ely, Nevada.
Edith was the seventh of ten children born to her mother and father. She wrote in the history she penned of her life, “I am very thankful that I was blessed with so many brothers and sisters for they are my best friends. There is a lot of love in my heart for each and every one of them.”
Edith brought three children into this world: James Robert Winder (Sue), Ginger Gail Haney (Tom), and Charles Albert Winder (Kate). She loved them deeply, and worried about them constantly. Her grandchildren are Ethan Haney (Cammie), Morgan Green (Nick), Rhys Haney, and Birgit Carlson (Kevin), Lindsay Martin (Ronnie), Tyrelle Winters, and Coty Winder. Her great-grandchildren Julia Haney, Kaden Talkington, Penelope Green, Jameson Winters, Nolan Carlson and Bennett Carlson.
In addition to loving her family, Mom loved her home in West Valley City, Utah which she purchased with her own wages, and penny-pinching (she was the ultimate penny-pincher). She enjoyed spending time in her yard- cultivating flowers, caring for the snow ball bushes, honeysuckle vine, and lawn. She also enjoyed traveling and was able to experience many trips here and abroad.
Edith Corine Tucker Anderson (Mom, Grandma, Great-Grandma) is missed since this last trip she took on March 25th.
