Edna Norman

June 3, 1928 — May 31, 2017

Edna Lucille Norman, was born June 3, 1928 in Mt Pleasant, Utah to Andrew and Mary Peterson. She married Robert Mons Norman March 18, 1950. Together they had 14 children. To support such a large clan Lucille worked a number of jobs; from early & special education to machine operation. She passed away surrounded by loved ones in West Valley City, Utah on May 31, 2017. She is survived by Karen Valdez, Mary & Blair Barnsen, Kenneth “Tex” Norman, Dalene Lino, Roxanne Griffiths, Sherrie & Vance Strunk, Nickie & Dale Burningham, Vickie & Dean Boggess, Rick Norman, Gary Norman, and Gary “Twig” McGowen; as well as 39 grandchildren, 63 great grandchildren, and 8 great-great grandchildren.

In death, she will be reunited with her husband, Robert and children Jackie Mendenhall, Anthony “Tony” Norman, and Robert “Bob” Norman. The family would like to thank the Heritage LDS Ward, and Community Nursing Services, for all the care and kindness.

Funeral services will be held 12-1 pm Tuesday June 6, 2017 at Peel Funeral Home, 8525 W 2700 S, Magna. She will be laid to rest at the Utah Veterans Memorial Park, 17111 S Camp Williams Rd., Bluffdale, Utah.

Due to multiple family allergies, we ask that you please refrain from wearing perfumes and colognes. Sorry for the inconveniences; Thank you for your cooperation.
