Jennie Faye Jones Woolsey

1946 – 2025

On April 2, 2025, we lost our beloved mom, Faye. Born in Heber City, UT to Jennie and Curtis H. Jones. Faye had a small-town childhood in Tabiona, logging with her parents.

She was a cheerleader and involved in many clubs at Tabiona High School before she started her family. Prior to moving to West Valley City, she had three children: Marty, Natalie, and Lisa. They spent their time around horses, baking, sewing matching outfits, and making trips to her hometown.

Faye excelled at many hobbies, but she thrived as a mom and grandma. She could turn an ordinary day into a fun adventure. She had the best sense of humor and could always make a witty comment or crack a joke to lighten the mood. She will be remembered as the caring, hardworking, funny woman who brought so much joy to all of our lives.

Survived by her children: Marty Lee Giles, Natalie Leona (Jim) Riley, and Lisa Faye (Jerry) McCann. Grandchildren & great-grandchildren: Marti Jo (Matt), Tyson (Sarah), Ashley (Rudy), Candace Faye (Kaden), Tasha (Marky), Alexis, Chancie (Chris), Chaz (Kylee), Navina, Treyson, Tatum, Tyus, Chevy, Rudy, Emma Faye, Jaxson, Julia, Hanna, Grayson Faye, Kiara and Waylon. Siblings: Cleo Hackford, Linda Stone, Jana Sweat, and Marvin Jones, many nieces, nephews, and her little companion, Snickers

Preceded in death by her husband Ralph Woolsey, parents Curtis and Jennie, siblings Loretta Casper, DeEtta Casper, Leon (Bub) Jones, Butch Jones, and Roxy, her chihuahua.

Services will be held at Peel Funeral Home on Monday, April 7th, 2025 with a viewing at 11:30 am, funeral services at 1:00 pm and a dedication at Redwood Memorial at 3:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to help with the unexpected funeral costs.
