1927 - 2012

Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, Flossie Inkelaar Thompson passed away October 3, 2012 at home in Magna. She was born May 9, 1927 in Wichita, KS to Leonardus Thomas and Helen Georgianna Burns Inkelaar.  She married Fredrick P. Thompson Sr. January 1, 1946 in Wichita, KS. Flossie was an active member of the LDS Church where she served in many callings. She had a great love for Reading, and was a 4-H club leader. She is survived by her husband; children, Mary Alice (Stephen) Peterson, Orson A. (Marilyn) Thompson, Olive (Gerald) Bailey, Rebekah (Gary) Clement, Deborah (Lance) Jackson, Carolyn (Michael) Neeley, Sarah Ruth (Gary) Scriver, Joy (Nolan) Bateman, John (Christine) Thompson, and Rachael (Scott) Nys; daughter-in-law, Charleene Thompson; 73 grandchildren; 64 great grandchildren; siblings, Dena Hall, Jerry Inkelaar, Dennis Inkelaar, Ruth Burke, and Thomas Inkelaar. Preceded in death by parents; son, Paul; 5 brothers & 5 sisters.

Funeral services will be held 12 noon Friday, October 5, 2012 at the Spencer 2 nd Ward, 8051 W. 2700 S.  Friends and family may call Thursday 6-8 p.m. at Peel Funeral Home, 8525 W. 2700 S., and Friday 11-11:45 at the church.  Interment: Utah Veterans Memorial Park.
