FRANK KENNETH BEZZANT

1944 ~ 2022

Frank Kenneth Bezzant passed away peacefully in his home on January 15th, 2022, at the age of 77. He was born on November 19th, 1944, in Los Angeles CA to Kenneth Frank and Betty Ann Bateman Bezzant. They moved to Garfield UT and then to Magna UT where he became the Magna kid.

He attended Cyprus High School and was on the swim team where he graduated in 1963. He joined the Coast Guard and fought in the Vietnam War. He attended Universities and moved to Virginia where he met and married Jane Burton and had two children, Ambre and Kenneth and later separated. He rekindled with his high school sweetheart, Cheri Martin at their 25th high school reunion when she moved to Virginia to be with him. She has 3 daughters, Marilee (Jeff) Lindstrom, Melinda (Darrin) Dyches, and Melissa (Forrest) McKellar which he treated as his own. He retired from the Pentagon after 23 years of service and they moved back to Magna UT, in 1997. He’s been an active member of the VFW in both Virginia and Utah for many years. He is a member of the Imperial Car Club and enjoys car shows with his friends.

He always had a positive happy go lucky attitude and enjoyed time spent with family and friends swapping old stories. He enjoyed life each day and would go out of his way to help anyone in their time of need. Once you met Frank you had a friend for life. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his sister, Cathy (Ken) Brems; his wife, Jane; 4 daughters, 16 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; family and friends.

He is preceded in death by Cheri; his son, Ken; and his parents, Ken and Betty.

He has asked not to have a service and his ashes be placed by his son, Ken in Virginia.
