Gary Ray Sainsbury

Gary Ray Sainsbury, 68, passed away on January 12, 2025, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Gary was born on October 3, 1956, in Salt Lake City, Utah to William (Bill) and Mary Sainsbury. 

Gary served in the Navy. Once discharged, he went on to be a baker. He loved the outdoors, fishing, camping, and spending time with his friends and family. 

Gary is survived by his daughter, Tara (Steven) Jensen; his sons, Terry Sainsbury and Timothy (Chandi) Sainsbury; 5 grandkids, Tucker, DeLynn, Waylon, Timaira, and Lucas. 

Gary is preceded in death by his parents, William and Mary Sainsbury; brothers, Jay, Rick, Bill Jr., and Mark Sainsbury; sister, Kathy Templin; and many more friends and family. 

Funeral service will be held on January 24, 2025, at the Peel Funeral Home at 8525 W. Magna Main Street, Magna, UT. A viewing will be held from 5-7 pm and a funeral from 7-8 pm.
