George Borland, passed away at his home March 28, 2013. He was born October 18, 1945, in Salt Lake City, Utah to George and Dorothy King Borland. George was an avid fisherman and loved to spend time in his garden. George especially loved his grandchildren and spent as much time with them as he could. George is survived by his mother, daughter, Connie Borland, 3 grandchildren, sisters; Judy Schoren, Alta Edwards, brothers; Clyde (Cindy), Terry Borland, many nephews and nieces, special care givers, Becky Rhodes, Kimmy Borland. He was preceded in death by his father, sister, Kathy Borland.

A special thanks to the staff of the Bristol Hospice for their loving care.

Funeral services will held 11:30 am, April 10, 2013 at St. Frances Xavier Catholic Church, 4501 W 5215 S, Kearns . The family will receive guests 10:30 - 11:30 am prior to services at the church.  Interment: Utah Veterans Memorial Park. Condolences: www.peelfuneralhome.com
