1931 - 2011

George Victor Cook, beloved husband and father, was called home to his Heavenly Father on March 10, 2011.  He was born October 23, 1931 in Los Angeles, CA to Lawrence E. and Mary Ferris Cook.  He married Janet Musser November 27, 1954; their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

George served in the US Air Force during the Korean War.  He worked as a teacher in the Tooele School District.

He is survived by his wife; children, Lynn, Gerald (Barbara), Jana (Vassili) Barabochkine, Linda (William) Ebert, and Carol Cook; 8 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren.

Preceded in death by parents; and son, Brian.

Funeral services will be held 12 noon Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at the Erda Chapel, 134 E. Erda Way, Erda, UT, where friends and family may call Wednesday 10:30-11:45 a.m.  Interment: Grantsville Cemetery.  Online condolences: www.peelfuneralhome.com
