Geroline “Gerry” Sylvia Asbury Snow, age 82, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family and her devoted dog “Molly” on May 19, 2018. Gerry was born June 2, 1935 to Sylvia and Theodore Asbury. Her mother died while giving birth; therefore, she was raised by her Father, Grandmother, and Aunt. As a young child, Gerry traveled all over the country with her father as he found work. During their adventures, she met the love of her life, Donald Lee Snow in Magna Utah. Gerry and Lee fell in love and were married on September 14, 1953. You could often catch Gerry saying that “Lee saved her life”. Lee and Gerry were blessed with three beautiful children; Mary Snow Dobesh, Danny Lee Snow and Kathy Snow Stewart. Gerry was a devoted mother and an amazing homemaker. She had a great affinity for nature, fishing, hiking and animals; especially horses and birds. After the kids were grown, Lee and Gerry settled down at their favorite place in the world, Scofield UT. She was often known for loading up the boat and heading out on the reservoir by herself to fish. Gerry loved teaching her grandchildren and great grandchildren how to bait up the pools to catch the biggest fish. Gerry’s legacy will continue in the mountains of Scofield through her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. We love you Gerry and are extremely proud to call you Wife, Mom, Grandma and Great Grandma.
In lieu of a funeral, there will be a celebration of life at the Scofield West Bowery, on June 2nd at 4:00pm.
We would like to give a special thanks to Inspiration Hospice and Home Health, for the amazing care and compassion they provided for Gerry and her family during her final hours.
