Glen Vernal Turpin
Glen Vernal Turpin was born October 18, 1932 in Salt Lake City Utah. He died October 23, 2013 at the age of 81, at his home in Kaysville, Utah. Glen was the only son of Vern & Verda Turpin. He grew up in Garfield and Magna Utah and graduated from Cyprus High School. Glen married his
High school sweetheart, Lucille Reeder, in the Salt Lake City Temple on April 10 th , 1951. He retired from Kennecott as a machinist. Glen spent his life in service to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was a Stake Clerk for over 20 years, in Magna and a Veil Worker at the Jordan River Temple. His greatest joy was his family.
He is survived by his Sweetheart and Eternal Companion, Lucille, his 6 daughters, Teresa (Ronald) Chapman, Connie (Ronald) Wagner, Glenda (Robert) Smith, Nancy (Douglass) Winslow, Pauline (Matt) Mathisen, and Pam (Todd) Steadman, 27 Grandchildren, and 33 Great grandchildren. Glen was preceded in death by his parents, Vern & Verda Turpin, and his sisters Afton Drain & Shirley Coon.

Funeral services will be 11 am Saturday October 26, 2013 at the Kaysville 7 th Ward, 331 South 50 West, Kaysville, Utah. Visitations will be held at the church 6-8 pm Friday October 25, 2013 and 10-10:45 AM prior to services Saturday.
