Glenn L. White
1935 ~ 2013
Our beloved dad, grandpa, brother, uncle and friend, Glenn L. White died peacefully January 21, 2013 surrounded by his children. Born October 9, 1935 in Salt Lake City, UT to George and Harriet White. He served in the US Navy from 1952-1956. Married Anita Bergin on August 6, 1954, and together they raised 3 children and shared many memories; later divorced. The majority of his career was spent at Varian (Eimac) where he made lifelong friendships. An avid sports fan, Glenn coached youth sports in the Murray area. All his players loved him. For many years he enjoyed golf, fishing, bowling, travel, and the ocean, especially the Oregon Coast. He cherished the times spent with his granddaughter, Cara. An old-school gentleman, devoted to his faith, he always put the needs of others before his own. His generous spirit and sense of humor shined throughout his life. Survived by his children, Catherine, Sonny, and Shirley; 4 grandchildren; brothers, Eugene Wilson and George White. Preceded in death by parents; sisters, Nina and Dorothy. Special thanks to Oren Brown, Rev. John Norman, and all of Glenn's special ladies of Varian whose friendships he cherished. Thanks to Hearts for Hospice and the Dream Foundation, you are awesome.
