Gordon Rolfson

Our loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend, Gordon Lamond Rolfson returned home to Heavenly Father on March 4, 2018.

Gordon was born on April 19, 1932 to Bazel Phillips Rolfson and Thelma Gordon. He is survived by his sweet wife, Erna M. Rolfson, his loving dog, Taco and his children; Richard, Frank and Petra. There are also precious grandchildren and great grandchildren who will remember him fondly. He was a brother to some and a dad to others.

Music was his passion. He loved playing his keyboard and singing along with it. He was a Corporal in the US Army, and served in Korea from 1949-1952. He was a bus driver for the city, and an EMT in the Emergency Room at Pioneer Valley Hospital, security at Hercules and later at ATK.

He was most known for his generous heart and outgoing personality. He will be loved and missed by many.

His viewing will be Thursday, March 8, 2018 from 6:00-8:00pm at Peel Mortuary, 8525 W. 2700 S, Magna, UT. A celebration of Gordon’s life will be held on Friday, March 9, 2018. Viewing from 10:00-10:45 prior to the Memorial Services at 11:00am at the Lakeside Ward, Bldg, 2875 S. 8000 W. Magna, UT. Interment will be at Camp Williams.
