Helen Hoopiiaina McOsker

Helen Hoopiiaina McOsker, born on March 10, 1952, in Butte, Montana, passed away peacefully on February 5, 2025. A beloved mother, grandmother, Aunt and friend, Helen was known for her warm heart and welcoming spirit, always opening her home to anyone in need. 

Helen had a passion for sewing and cherished celebrating holidays with family and friends. Her home was a sanctuary filled with love, laughter, and her impressive collection of cookie jars. A true cat lover, her furry companions were always by her side. Helen's homemade cheesecake and love for coffee were legendary, complemented by her fondness for Dr Pepper, Tootsie Rolls, and orange sticks.

She embraced her Hawaiian culture and enjoyed wearing her signature muumuu dresses. A devoted fan of "Walker Texas Ranger," she often spent her evenings organizing her cherished belongings while watching her favorite show. 

Helen is survived by her daughters, Robin McOsker and Ailisa (Glenn) Wheeler; sons, Ronald J. McOsker, David McOsker, and Clinton McOsker; and her brother, Donald L. Hoopiiaina, and many beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Henry McOsker; her father, Donald Nephi Hoopiiaina; her mother, Wanda Marion Hoopiiaina; brothers, Frederick Jr., Thomas, Ronald Reudter; and sister, Ruby Lorraine Hoopiiaina Parry; and grandson, Taylon Harrington.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date to honor the beautiful legacy Helen leaves behind. Helen will be dearly missed but forever remembered for her kindness, love, and the joy she brought to everyone around her.
