Ina D. Pendleton 85, of Magna, Utah, passed away from the insidious effects of Alzheimer’s Disease on Jan. 13, 2016. She was born June 16, 1930 in Park City, Utah the daughter of Cleamond Eskelson and Elizabeth J. Durrant. She married LaMar L. Pendleton, Sept. 25, 1948, in Murray, Utah, later solemnized in the Salt Lake City Temple. He preceded her in death on Nov. 20, 1991. Together they had 3 children. She married Melvin G. Felts on Jan. 31, 1998, in West Valley City, Ut.
She worked in the Health Insurance industry most of her adult life in Customer Service. She loved the many people she helped in that capacity. She loved going to her Cabin in Kamas, and Deer watching. She was a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. She loved playing the organ and piano for the LDS church and was active for many years in other callings.
Survived by her daughters, Sherrie A. Pendleton and Denise (Brad) Olsen, daughter-in-law, Martha A.Pendleton, 2 step-children, 17 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Cleamond D. Eskelson, her sister Lorene D. Eskelson and her son, Robert L. Pendleton.
Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, Jan. 18, 2016 at Peel Funeral Home, 8525 W. 2700 So. Magna. A viewing will be held from 10:00-10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment will follow at Valley View Memorial Park. Friends may leave condolences at www.peelfuneralhome.com .
