Ione Christensen Fuller

1912 - 2011

MAGNA-A truly remarkable wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, Julia Ione Christensen Fuller passed away at the age of 99 on September 27, 2011 surrounded by her loving family.

Born on April 17, 1912 in Sunnyside, Utah the 11 ^th of 12 children to Andrew and Carolyn Larson Christensen.  She grew up in Salt lake City, and married Alfred Fuller on November 30, 1933 in the Salt lake LDS Temple.  Together they had three children, Lorraine, Terry, and Illene (Tony) Mirabella.  They also raised 4 grandchildren, Deborah (Larry) Mitchell, Sandra Fuller, Don (Debby) Fuller, and Patricia (Brad) Beagley.  Also survived by 7 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 35 great-great grandchildren.

She and Alfred owned and operated the Magna Polar King for 18 years.  She loved life and enjoyed needlework, collecting dishes, and cleaning her home.  She also belonged to the Utah State Poetry Society.  She will be truly missed by family and many friends.

Preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, daughter, and all of her siblings.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, October 3, 2011 at Peel Funeral Home, 8525 W. 2700 S., where friends and family may call both Sunday 6-8 p.m. and Monday 10-10:45 a.m. prior to services.  Interment: Salt Lake City Cemetery.  Online condolences: www.peelfuneralhome.com
