Our loving, caring grandmother, Jean Props, left us to be with her husband, George Props, and her daughter, Georjean Props, on February 25, 2012. Her last moments were spent in her home surrounded by her loving family and friends.

She was born November 11, 1928 in Murray, Utah to Harold and Clara Olsen Grow. Jean married  the love of her life, George Jackson Props, on September 2, 1952. They had one daughter and two grandsons who she loved and raised as her own. Jean loved life and never gave up when things got tuff. She loved fishing the outdoors and being with family and friends. One of her favorite hobbies was making quilts with close friends and yelling at George when he got out of line. She loved to laugh and enjoyed telling stories of her life. She loved everyone and judged nobody.

Jean will be deeply missed in every way. Her willingness to take care for others will live on through her spirit. Survived by her grandsons, Jimmylee Merrill and John (Victoria) Merrill; great granddaughters, Rayden Cheyenne and Sayge Takoda; sister Faye Hales; and many nephews and nieces.

Memorial services will be held 11 am Sat., February 3, 2012 at Peel Funeral Home, 8525 W 2700 So., Magna, where friends and family may call 10 - 11 a.m. Interment: Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
