With heavy hearts we are sad to announce the passing of Jeffrey James Shokri, at the age of 43 on January 19th, 2024. Jeff was born in Tacoma, WA on January 25, 1980 to Sam Shokri and Patricia Brodsack. After graduating in 1998 from Peninsula High School in Gig Harbor, WA. He joined the United States Marine Corps in July of 2000, and completed his service honorably. Jeff had a great sense of humor and loved joking around with his family. He enjoyed many hobbies especially cooking for his family and watching his #1 team, the Seahawks play football, he never missed a game! He was a great father who prioritized his kids' happiness. He will be greatly missed.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Donald and Jeanne Brodsack; and his son, Amael. He is survived by his fiancé, Susana Flores; his children, Sebastian, Mi’kayelah, Jesus, Shayla, Aleksandar, and Kaila; his parents, Sam & Eliseida Shokri; his mother, Patricia Brodsack; siblings Brandon, Sophia (Nikolos) Dockery, Ryan (Joy), Mary, Sandra, and Danita; 2 nephews, Dayvion and Gavin; and niece, Eden.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 from 6-8pm. A viewing will also be held at 11am, and a funeral at 12pm on Thursday, January 25, 2024. All services will be held at Peel Funeral Home located at 8525 W. 2700 S., Magna, Utah.
The burial services will be held Monday, January 29, 2024 at 11:30am at the Utah Veterans Cemetery & Memorial Park located at
17111 S. 1700 W,. Bluffdale, UT.
