In loving memory of Joey Michael Duran. Born April 29, 1991 in Salt Lake City, UT to his parents, Gilbert and Bernadette Martinez. June 5, 2021 at 30 years old his life was taken away to soon.

Joey had such a big heart he would do anything for anyone, he would empty his pockets t make sure yours was full. He was quite the joker, quick to make you laugh or put a smile on your face. Joey, we are going to miss you so much.

Survived by parents, Gilbert and Bernadette Martinez; wife, Lendita Duran; children, Jayden, Navina, Joey Jr., and Enzo; brothers, Johnny Duran, Jake Duran, Anthony (Gabby) Martinez, and Mario (Lupita) Martinez; grandparents, Wilfred Duran and Bobbi Martinez; uncle, Anthony (Angelina) Duran; aunt, Angel Duran; many more brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Preceded in death by grandmother, Alice Duran; grandfather, Gilbert E. Martinez; uncle, Wille "T" Salazar; and cousin, Junior "Nopo" Marquez.

A visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Thursday, June 17, 2021 at Peel Funeral Home, 8525 W. Magna Main St, where funeral services will be Friday 11 a.m. with a visitation one hour prior. Interment: Redwood Memorial Estates.
